I keep getting these messages from my students. They want to do many things in life but always complain they have no time.
I was also the same. From my childhood, being prompt was my strength. I used always to finish homework before even going home. I always finished my tasks and then went to enjoy dinner, games, and TV.
But due to this, I had become very critical about myself, during my career I used to say to everyone " I don't have time. I am busy". This made me attract more tasks and made me feel overwhelmed. I somehow enjoyed being busy.
I used to get irritated when people assigned me new tasks or asked me to do anything when I was free. Then I recognized the trigger. It was a breakthrough for me by my mentor who said "Sree, stop saying, I am busy, I don't have time, and start saying, I have more than enough time, and start taking action". I started taking action and finishing tasks on time, and I no longer procrastinated. It was not laziness but my mindset which made me feel comfortable being busy.
I started saying the same thing and taking action. Now I have more than enough time to execute all my daily tasks.
I realized it was all my mindset. Once I had clarity of my routine and time management, anything is possible for me ☺️
If you are a woman struggling with time management remember to say " l have more than enough time" and stop spending your time and energy on things that won't serve you.
